Geothermal Installations

Geothermal systems can be used in a variety of applications.  From a typical home, to a mansion.  From an ice-cream store to a steel mill.  Hotels, convenience stores, government housing, and even ice-skating rinks.  There are applications in car washes, and factories (where waste water is used to heat the building). Swimming pool, spa, and water heating are also becoming a more and more popular use for geothermal systems.  In a sense, almost any application where the owner is concerned with costs, equipment reliability, and the environment; geothermal systems can be the ultimate answer.  Below are just a few typical applications utilizing geothermal systems:

Indy Auto Wash, Fremont, IN

This open loop geothermal system heats hot water for ice-melt and for car washing.  In this example,  the owner removed his natural gas system, and saved thousands of dollars in fuel costs.  In fact, enough to pay for the system in three years!  See an article written about this system.
